Law enforcement requests

Updated 28 September 2026

This page explains how law enforcement and other authorised public authorities can contact MomentXO about an investigation or an urgent safety concern. It does not give anyone access to member information without an appropriate legal basis.

Where to send requests

Email support@momentxo.com with the subject Law enforcement request. Please send the request from an official agency email address. This inbox is not an emergency service or a guaranteed 24-hour response channel.

What to include

How we handle requests

We check the sender's identity and authority, review the legal basis and scope, and may ask for clarification or additional legal process. Where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law, we seek to provide only information responsive to a valid request. We may decline or challenge requests that are unclear, overly broad or unsupported by appropriate authority. We handle personal information in line with our privacy notice.

If you need us to preserve specified information, say so clearly and identify the account, material and period. Preservation depends on what information is available and the applicable law; this page does not promise that deleted or expired material can be recovered.

Immediate danger and child safety

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services first. Authorities may then email the address above with URGENT SAFETY in the subject and explain the threat, relevant identifiers and time sensitivity. We review urgent reports as quickly as reasonably possible, but the email address is not continuously monitored.

Members can use the in-app report controls for suspected underage accounts, exploitation or other breaches of our community rules. This route for member reports does not replace contacting emergency services where there is immediate danger.

Member notice

We may notify an affected member of a request where appropriate and legally permitted. We may delay or withhold notice where prohibited by law or where notice could create a safety risk or prejudice an investigation.
